DAVID ALENIK
As the owner and executive chef, David has been purveying the freshest pasta and finest gourmet Italian food at the Pasta Shop Ristorante since 1989. Prior to that, David earned a degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson and Wales Culinary Academy in Providence, RI. In 1980, he moved to Las Vegas and became the personal chef to Steve Wynn, owner and operator of Wynn and Encore Hotels. During this time David personally catered to Mr. Wynn and his guests including Frank Sinatra, Elizabeth Taylor, Cary Grant, Sylvester Stallone, Muhammad Ali and Evel Knievel. After his successful tenure with Steve Wynn, David used his entrepreneurial skills to open the Pasta Shop Ristorante. Since then, he has won Restauranteur of the Year from the Nevada Restaurant Association and been highly acclaimed from nationally recognized sources such as Zagat and USA Today. Creating a unique fusion of classic Italian dishes and creative specialties, David is sure to please anyone with his unique take on gourmet Italian food.
ANN ALENIK
Ann Alenik created the vibe dining and interior design of the Pasta Shop. All the artwork displayed are Ann's custom creations and are for sale. Ann also showcases her work at art shows and art galleries both locally and nationally. She has also been featured on HGTV and received recognition for her contemporary metalwork.
GIANNA KENT
Gianna is the General Manager at the Pasta Shop and has been with us since 2005. She graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas earning a degree in Meetings and Event Management. Gianna is skilled in party and event planning and will ensure our guests' satisfaction in creating memorable events for any occasion. She has been an integral part in the growth and prosperity of our family business and always provides excellent service to our customers.
